Every comment the site ever received — 10 of them, from 3 people — in the order they were posted. They arrived on just two pages.
Read in sequence they tell a story the page-by-page archive obscures. On 3 September 2011 dinesh asked whether requiring spirituality would exclude non-believers. The reply came at 05:08 the next morning, and a new page redefining spirituality to include atheists was published the same day. Two days later shailenjha arrived between 00:48 and 01:38 with six comments proposing an RFC process, a wiki and a manifesto benchmarked against the Congress and BJP documents. Nobody replied. Nothing followed. That silence is where the project ended — nine months before the last post, and fourteen years before the domain lapsed.
suggestion correction: Encourage cottage /Small Scale Industries much more "that" big business houses.
Encourage cottage /Small Scale Industries much more than big business houses.
Spirituality is a means of adding the humanity factor in humans. Non believers like atheist who believe in humanity and love can also be, rather are very good citizens. But the question is how to identify these good dedicated citizens. Spirituality can be a means to identify good, honest and committed people.
socio/ eco/ pol /spiritual goals should be expanded using wiki discussion pages.
we need to write a manifesto take a look at congress/ bjp manifestos so that people know what they are signing for. we have just one vote so lets make it worthwhile.
* small govt /
* sunshine laws/
* better focus on income transfers/
* panchayati raj based/
*
2nd goal should read as sunset laws
* direct action (participation in elections) / mass movement alternating with nation building phases fully utilizing the constitutional space offered by degenerate politics of today
* we do not believe in civil disobedience or dharna (as opposed to peaceful picketing) means must be just, not just the end
* strategy based on
- law of mass
- mao zedong's long march turned on its head, making inroads into rural areas from urban high grounds. letting the berlin wall effect do the rest.
turning hegel upside down, relying on marxian notion of alienation, unless we are healed inside there will be no peace.
* promoting social mobility without looting wealth of haves
* increasing opportunity
* promoting systemic forces that increase the size of sunshine economy (knowledge economy)
* lifelong learning of multiple skills and skill based entrepreneurship
faith can be in
* religion (god)
* science/ technology (god particle)/ aethist (people with science)
* humanity / agnostics (people with arts)
and it follows as the night the day you can then do no wrong"
* vishva kutumbakam
*
*Sarve bhavantu sukhinah
Sarve santu niraamayaah
Sarve bhadraani pashyantu
Maakaschit duhkha bhaag bhavet
OM shanti shanti shanti.
May all be happy! (sukhinah)
May all be free from disabilities! (niraamayaah)
May all look (pashyantu)to the good of others!
May none suffer from sorrow! (duhkha)
May three fold peace be
Just a thought:
I remember Obama's fist speech when he became president calling non believers separately while addressing. Wondering if putting spirituality in the party ethics will restrict non believers.
